Shree Sagarmatha launches Cat5 cables

Sighting the growth and volumes sales in the networking products segment,
Delhi-based Shree Sagarmatha Distributors have recently launched Cat5 cables
under their brand name Tech-Com. The company is distributing a range of products
under their brand Tech-Com starting from computer peripherals to UPS, cabinets,
digital and web cameras among others.

Elaborating about the latest addition to their kit of networking products,
Amit Kumar Kedia, MD, Shree Sagarmatha Distributors stated, “Following the
success of our networking products, and growth the industry is witnessing we
have resolved to provide yet another product. The Cat5 cable will be available
through all our channel partners across the country. We will initially observe
the market and move stocks according to the response.”

In order to increase its penetration, the company is planning to add three
new branch offices to their existing list of 11 offices across the country. The
new offices will be opened in Jaipur, Bhubaneshwar and Ranchi or Jamshedpur.
Confirming the same, Kedia stated, “Expansion is the key to increasing business.
Our Kolkata office is overburdened with work and in order to run our operations
effectively in East, we will be opening a branch office either in Jamshedpur or
Ranchi.”

In addition, the company is also looking to foray into the manu-facturing
space in their bid to strengthen their business further. Talking about the same,
Kedia mentioned, “We are planning to manufacture certain products in India but
that will happen only after the announcement of Union Budget.”

He further added that the government wants to encourage IT companies to
manufacture within the country and if the budget is designed keeping the same in
mind, the company will set-up a manufacturing base in India. As of now, the
company imports all its products from China.
