Well, the latest media reports say that iGate CEO Phaneesh Murthy has been sacked due to his alleged involvement in a sexual harassment case.

This has again posed the question on women's safety and vulnerability in work places. And whether there should be more stringent sexual harassment policy in India?
The IT industry is well known for being the highest recruiter and employees spending more time in office over home. With such incidents rampant in this sector, the question is how to get rid of such acts.

The Man Behind Infosys
Phaneesh Murthy was the man who architected Infosys' business in the US, and was also responsible for the success of iGate. Under his tenure, iGate's revenues grew from $2 mn to $750 mn within a span of 10 years.

Though his colleagues appreciate his prowess at work, the question that still has to be answered is that with such charges whether he will be able to recreate his severely tarnished image.
