NCR Systemedia has announced the appo-intment of SES Tech-nologies
as its first national distributor to look after the compatible cartridges
business. NCR’s compatible cartridges are produced through a re-manufacturing
process that includes inspecting the old cartridge, replacing all worn parts,
and print testing the cartridge for quality. The plastic is normally recycled,
but all the working parts are new.

Said Sandeep Gupta, Coun-try Manager, NCR Systemedia,
"Having pioneered the concept of compatible cartridges in the country, our
objective is to spr-ead the presence in markets across the country. Given SES
Technologies’ reach and pene-tration, we are upbeat about servicing markets
beyond the metros. "While NCR Syste-media has been able to make inroads in
the corporate acco-unts, this initiative is directed towards spreading the
concept in the channels.

Added PK Krishnaprasad, CEO, SES Technologies, "We want
to emerge as a one-shop stop in IT and technology distri-bution and would like
to expl-ore the channels with this value offering of compatible cart-ridges from
NCR Systemedia."

NCR Systemedia is involved in product lines such as
full-color stock and custom printed paper rolls for thermal and impact printers,
business fo-rms, thermal transfer ribbons, label products, laser cartridges and
inkjet consumables. Of these products, the compatible printer cartridges moves
thro-ugh the IT channel, while the other products are sold directly.

SES Technologies has the strong infrastructure required for
the distribution business with its 20 offices in major and smaller cities across
the country and two main hub ware-houses as a part of the 19 storage and
ware-house facilities. With the core stre-ngths being reached and presence in
tertiary cities in the country, coupled with logistic capabilities, SES has
distingui-shed itself as a value distribu-tion partner both to the princi-pals
and the channel partners.
