Microsoft today announced the signing up of SES Technologies Ltd as a
distributor for HED products in India. Ranked the fourth largest IT distributor
in India, SES has a countrywide network of more than 3,500 channel partners,
which will now be leveraged for retailing Microsoft hardware products, primarily
keyboards and mouses.
Commenting on the new distribution partner, Mohit Anand, Manager (Home and
Entertainment Division), Micro-soft India, said, "Our channel partners
represent our biggest asset today and we are con-stantly thinking of new ways
to make this relationship stronger. Our partnership with SES is a significant
step in this direction."
Added PK Krishnaprasad, CEO, SES, "The mantra for success in the IT
business is a good product backed by effe-ctive reach and penetration. We are
geared to leverage the world class quality products offered by Microsoft through
our reach and penetration acr-oss the country and establish our presence beyond
the metros."
In addition, Microsoft has also appointed eight Aggrega-tor Partners across
each of the eight key regions. These inc-lude Advanced Management in Kolkata for
the eastern region, Trifin Technologies in New Delhi for North India and Sri
Durga Computech Pvt Ltd in Bangalore.
