Seminar on ICE to be held in Chennai 

The ICE Business Forum @ Chennai, a part of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, is organizing a one-day seminar to discuss the many facets of the ICE (Information, Communication and Entertainment) sector and its relevance in the Indian context.

The seminar, which will be held on 5 May 2001 at Hotel Taj Coromandel, is titled, `ICE - The Road Ahead'. It would focus on the opportunities and challenges of the ICE sector, it's shortcomings and legal aspects. Among other related topics to be discussed are the slowdown of the US economy and it's impact on the Indian ICE business, emerging technologies in the entertainment industry and globalization of the Indian entertainment industry, to name a few.

While the chief guest at the event will be Donald G Nay, the Commercial Consul at the American Consulate General, Chennai, other speakers include S Mahalingam, Executive Vice President, Tata Consultancy Services, Kandaswamy, CEO, Digital Studios, B Parameshwar Babu, Director, PPP InfoTech and other prominent speakers from the industry.
