In Delhi the road show would be held on November 25
Seagate is joining Intel on the road to help technology resellers create
powerful solutions for their customers in Asia. Thousands of solution providers
have been invited to the Intel Channel Conference (ICC), including members of
the Seagate Partner Program, to benefit from Intel's training program and
Seagate's new-technology showcase.
Seagate ICC presence will provide an update on Seagate's comprehensive hard
disc drive portfolio including products for the emerging whitebook market and
new Serial ATA (SATA) solutions with Native Command Queuing (NCQ). During the
ICC show, Seagate, along with Intel and others, will be offering starter kit
promo-tions-including Seagate 160GB SATA NCQ drives at special price points.
ICC is a targeted training road show specifically desi-gned to educate system
buil-ders on the latest products and technologies, and Intel pro-gram benefits.
According to the press release, Intel has been running ICC road shows across
the globe twice a year since 2000. Seagate will participate in over 70 of the
ICCs in Asia. In addi-tion to its presentation, Sea-gate will also showcase its
broad range of disc drives at its booth.
As per released schedule, In India the road shows would start from Bangalore
on Nov 17 and then would move to other cities including Pune (Nov 17), Chennai
(Nov 19), Indore(Nov 19), Ludhiana(Nov 22), Coa-chin(Nov 22), Mumbai(Nov 23),
Chandigarh(Nov 23), Hydra-bad(Nov 24), Ahmedabad (Nov25), Delhi (Nov 25)
Coim-botore (Nov 29), Surat (Nov 29), Lucknow(29), Hubli (Dec1), Nagpur (Dec
1)and Jaipur (Dec2).
"In the last few years, a myriad of new applications for hard drives has
evolved-from consumer electronics to new storage systems and each has its own
very specific requirements," said Teh Ban Seng, VP and MD, Sales and
Marketing, Asia, Seagate. "By participating in the ICC we will help system
builders, retailers, integrators and consultants achieve a com-petitive
advan-tage through in-depth know-ledge of new disc drive technologies like SATA
with NCQ. In addition, we want to show them how they can address the emerging
white-book segment with our pro-ducts, helping them deliver the most advanced
and reli-able storage solutions to their customers," he added.
