Acer India announced that they have signed on Savex Computers as a new
national distributor exclusively for their monitor business. Acer has recorded a
market share of 20.1 percent in Q2 2008 according to the latest report by IDC,
almost doubling their market share from Q2 2007, which was 12.8 percent.

Capitalizing on the expertise of Savex Computers to address the growing
business volumes in the monitor market in the B, C and D category cities, Acer
plans to scale its operations to the next level for their growing monitor
business in India. With over 40 sales offices in India, the tie-up with Savex
Computers is designed to increase access and provide additional resources for
Acer's channel network to address the growing demand for Acer products in the
monitor market. Savex Computers has a cost effective and finely tuned logistics
operation using specialized regional transporters that will further help Acer to
increase its bandwidth and increase the availability of Acer's LCD monitors in
the tier-2 and tier-3 cities across India.
