Satyam Infoway Ltd has launched its plethora of products
in the city of Gwalior recently. The launch is being seen as another attempt to
give Internet surfers in the city, an access to information at better download
speeds and professional customer services. NK Singh, GM, BSNL announced the
launch. Prashant Trivedi, Deputy GM, BSNL, presided over the function, while
Ranjan, Marketing Manager, Satyam Infoline, welcomed the distinguished gathering
at the inaugural.
The products by Satyam shall be marketed by M/s
Pitambara Infoline (P) Ltd, Gwalior.
Addressing the audience, Singh said that with the
introduction of Satyam services in Gwalior, the consumer stands to benefit the
most because of healthy competition between the various players in the market.
“The quality of services available to the consumer will also see a change for
the better,” he added.
Akshaya Bhatnagar and Amit Shrivastava of Pitambara said
that the installation of the company’s Internet pack was easy and
user-friendly. To boot the pack Satyam had also made available for customers a
number of software titles like eSafe, ViaGrafix, Indomail, Dr Millennium, Market
Pulse, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Outlook Express for their use all free of
cost. Of particular interest to potential customers is the Indomail software
package that makes it possible to email anyone in 14 Indian languages. Another
feature was the availability of a 24-hour customer care center to assist any
customer with information and installation assistance should the need arise.
Ranjan passed on the information about his
organization’s products and the various services that a customer could access
through the Internet by using Satyam. He said that various packages-from a
25-hour package for occasional users to a 1000-hour package for organization and
prolific users-with surfing validity from one month to 24-months-are very well
available in the market, allowing the customer with greater flexibility. Ranjan
said that Satyam had added a gateway at Bhopal, which was connected to an
international network, there by making the speed available to a customer higher
than that of other ISPs in the state.
