SAR Group with operations in various segments including UPS (SafePower), inverters (Luminous), software development and travel and tourism to name a few has ventured further into foreign education.

This new venture of providing foreign education to Indian students has a bifurcated strategy behind it. First, cashing on its present infrastructure and secondly trying to make its services available to a huge number of places.

It all started in June this year, as the education ministry of Kazakhastan was looking for a suitable partner, which could manage the influx of Indian students in their country. Now it is also providing such a service to Middlesex University in UK. Edusar has been able to send the first batch of Indian students to Kazakhastan and UK this season. It is looking to provide similar services across Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, UK and US.

Edusar's services include counseling young perspective students, processing their papers, scrutinizing students and arranging for the travel of the students.

With a reach at multiple cities around the country, it is planning to expand across the nation more sporadically. Working on the franchisee model, as per Sunil Bhalla, CEO, Edusar, "We want to reach to all those destinations which have not been tapped as yet. Our focus is not making a quick buck, but to provide our services to various cities across India."

According to Bhalla, the group already has the much-required reach across the nation and they are very bullish on finding the requisite partners by using this network. As of now operating through representatives in Chandigarh, Delhi, Hyderabad, Raipur and Vadodara, it is looking at cities such as Chennai, Ahmedabad, Mumbai-cities where there are a lot of prospective students which are still looking for better consulting entities.

Bhalla commented that this business has been so far been dominated by various one-man shows with a few exceptions. Edusar would like to break such a trend and provide various financially viable options across worldwide destinations to students.
