Sapient to acquire Business Information Solutions

Sapient has entered into an agreement to acquire Busi-ness Information
Solutions, LLC (BIS), a provider of SAP-related professional services,
specializing in business intelligence (BI) solutions. The acquisition, which is
expected to be completed late in the second quarter of this year, is subject to
certain closing conditions and approvals.

According to the press release, Sapient's clients will benefit from BIS's
recognized expertise and thought leader-ship in the latest SAP products and
solutions, including Business Information Ware-house (BW), Strategic Enter-prise
Management (SEM), NetWeaver and other "New Dimension" products. This
expertise, combined with the ability to leverage Sapient's agile-based Global
Distributed DeliverySM model, will enable clients to realize superior returns
from their investments in SAP. Additionally, the acquisition of BIS will extend
Sapient's outsourcing capabi-lities to include the manage-ment of SAP
applications.
