Sandeep Ramani quits Hip Street, joins Envent as COO

Sandeep Ramani has recently joined Delhi based Envent, a accessories company for IT, telecom and lifestyle products as the Co founder and Chief Operating Officer for its India and APAC operations.

Under his new role, Ramani will be responsible for establishing Envent's brand in the India market. Moreover, he is putting strong sales team and fostering channel distribution for its product.

In an exclusive interview to The DQWeek, Sandeep Ramani, COO, Envent World Wide said, "I am quite excited to launch our own high quality and value for money brand of accessories in the Indian market. Initially, the strategy is to introduce entire range of IT, telecom and lifestyle products and at the same time we are building our own regional distribution channel."

Ramani has been present in the IT industry for last 17 years and have been a well known name in the IT and telecom channel. He had played an instrumental role in bringing Genius and Hip Street companies to India.

Ramani further added, "With having rich domain experience and strong relationship with the channel community we will certainly gain significant marker share in the accessories market. We are rapidly growing our reach and team to offer best of the solutions to the channel with strong service support."

Prior to joining Envent, Ramani was the Country Manager with Hip Street and before that he was also the Country Manager for Genius. In fact, before joining Genius he was the Country Manager-India for Almasa IT Distribution, a Dubai based IT Distribution Company. He started his career with HBS Systems and subsequently worked with different IT companies. A Bachelor of Arts, Sandeep has also done Advance Diploma in Computer Science.
