Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab 3 series

Samsung now has a range of 5 tablets, which are available between INR 17,745 to Rs 38,840.

Samsung has unveiled Galaxy Tab 3 311 (8-inch screen) and Galaxy Tab 3 211 (7-inch screen) in India.

Announcing the launch, Vineet Taneja, Country Head, Samsung Mobile and Imaging Business, stated, "Ever since we pioneered the introduction of tablets in India in the year 2010 , we have fuelled the growth of this segment through our innovative Tab portfolio; the most recent being the Note 800 and the Note 510.The Tab 3 series carries forward the Samsung legacy of innovation by offering consumers the benefit of the smartest screen, an unmatched performance, smart usability coupled with a host of applications that allow consumers' to personalize and thereby enrich their experience with the device."

The 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will be available in two variants. The Galaxy Tab 3 311 has 3G (Voice and Data) capability while the Galaxy Tab 3 310 is a WiFi version only.

The MRP of the Galaxy Tab 3 models launched in India are: Tab 3 211 (7") is Rs. 17,745, Tab 3 311 (8") is for Rs. 25,725, and Tab 3 310 (8" WiFi only) is for Rs. 21,945.

The Samsung Tab 3 Series comes with an introductory offer of 2GB/month data free for two months from Vodafone. The offer is valid on the post paid platform. With the launch of the Tab 3 series, Samsung now has a range of 5 tablets, which are available between INR 17,745 to Rs 38,840.
