Samsung Electronics India Information and Telecommunication Ltd (SEIIT) recently announced the inauguration of Samsung Talkies-its state-of-the-art mobile phone plaza at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi to be follows by one in Gems Court, Chennai. With a planned investment of over $ 1 million, Samsung Talkies will be extended to 13 more cities by the mid of next year.
Some of the cites being-Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune. The entire Samsung mobile rage including their latest phones will be displayed at the outlet, which will be manned by Samsung trained demonstrators.
"Samsung Talkies is a new paradigm in retailing with our customers in mind. Our objective behind this retail idea is to give today's consumers the complete feel and experience even while buying a handset, as a mobile is increasingly becoming a necessity," said Brain Lee, Director (Telecom), SEIIT. "And the interiors have been designed in keeping with the trendy and fashionable image of the Samsung mobile handsets."
Samsung Talkies has been exclusively designed by Design Atelier, which has done a justification to the job, keeping in tune with the design maturity of its customers and giving it a trendy and young look. Spread over 800 square feet of air-conditioned luxury, Samsung Talkies has been meticulously planned to enable customers to browse at ease. The plush interiors are impressive with hues of Purple, Blue, Warm Yellow, Silver and Grey to go with the exuberant positioning of the mobile phones.
Adding to this, Rajiv Sethi, Marketing Manager (Telecom), SEIIT, said, "This is the first in a line of the mobile plazas planned for all over India. We intend to reach out and give the Indian customer the internationals hopping experience. This launch also shows Samsung's India focus as it is one of the first mobile plazas to be launched by Samsung Electronics anywhere in the world."
