Samsung appoints Ranjit as Director, IT Business

Samsung India appointed Ranjit Singh Yadav as the Director, IT Business
Division. In this role, Yadav will head the company's IT business division in
India and will be based out of Samsung India's corporate office in New Delhi.

Samsung's IT product portfolio in India comprises LCD monitors, HDDs, OMS and
printers. HB Lee, President and CEO, Samsung South West Asia Regional Head
Quarters on welcome note said, "Yadav 's appointment will give a fresh impetus
and a new direction to our IT Business. The company will benefit from Yadav 's
rich experience in India and overseas and we look forward to having him
spearhead the company's growth strategy going forward."

Yadav brings with him 22 years of experience, having worked with HP Asia
Pacific as Director?Asia Pacific Japan. He has handled a number of key
assignments such as Regional Partner Management and SEA Channel Head, based out
of Singapore. In his last assignment he was responsible for APJ Enterprise
Service and Storage business for Asia Pacific and Japan. Prior to joining HP
Asia Pacific, he has worked with Philips Electronics, Asia Pacific since 1998,
where he was Marketing Director? Televisions for Asia Pacific & MEA. He has also
worked with companies like Hindustan Unilever and Computer Point India earlier
on in his career.

Speaking on his assignment, Yadav stated, "The Samsung IT business is going
through an exciting growth phase, where the company looking at significantly
enhancing its presence in the country. I am happy to be associating with Samsung
at this time and look forward to an exciting and rewarding experience at Samsung
India."

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru, Yadav holds a
degree in Economics from the University of Delhi.
