Samayal, a CD on self-cooking

Chennai-based Softview Computers, publisher of several CD titles mainly in Tamil, has launched a new CD called Samayal. A software to learn self-cooking, Samayal is available in both Tamil and English. The CD covers South Indian and Chettinad cusines, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Over 120 variety of dishes had been covered in the CD and the company plans to market this product across the world, as South Indian foods are famous across the continents. "Today, people are willing to settle across the world and at the same time, they have a great longing for their dishes. To help them in the cooking, we have launched this software and South Indian dishes are famous with other country people also," said M Anto Peter, CEO, Softview Computers.

The voice-enabled software allows user to choose their option of browsing the contents or listening audio, while cooking simultaneously. "The user can also print the contents and save it as a book," he quipped.


The CD is priced at Rs 300.
