Salora has started manufacturing multimedia speaker systems at their state of the art plant in Noida, where they are already producing a range of speakers for TVs, PA Systems, Cars etc.

Salora has started manufacturing multimedia speaker systems at their state of the art plant in Noida, where they are already producing a range of speakers for TVs, PA Systems, Cars etc.

The Home Entertainment market in India has been growing at the rate of 20% annually and a sudden spurt in LCD/LED TV market has created a pull for Multimedia speakers to support the high definition picture with superior sound quality. Out of this market, Salora intends to capture 15% market share over the next five years.

Salora strengthens its manufacturing footprints with the current production capacity of 20K units per month with expansion plans set to achieve a target capacity of 50K units per month by the coming fiscal year.

Gopal Jiwarajka, MD and CEO of Salora International, said, "The move to set up a new manufacturing unit of multimedia speaker systems is in synergy with our tradition to produce quality products to make Home Entertainment a more enjoyable experience. Our experience of manufacturing in Audio Video Technology for almost four decades, is being incorporated in these newly launched product lines."
