Sakri IT establishes foothold in the Malaysian market with ‘Sakri International’

Witnessing an exponential growth in the Indian IT security market, Sakri IT Solutions a Pune based national distributor of Kaspersky, is all geared up to start its international entity as "Sakri International" in Malaysia by June this year.

Commenting on this exclusively to The DQ Week, K Ravi Lakshman, CEO of Sakri IT Solutions said, "Sakri International will be our different entity in Malaysia, which will be manufacturing IT security products and would further supply to the international OEMs associated in our business." And when further asked about the details of those international OEMs, he replied, "As of now, we are not supposed to reveal any detail of the OEMs involved in this."

He also added that the products would be available in the Indian market by July this year. It has invested of about 3 million dollars to establish its Malaysian office. "We are certain that by the end of the next financial year, we will reach our ROI target from the international market," said Lakshman.

Along with its foray into the Malaysian market, Sakri IT is also expanding its channel strategies in the Indian market. "This year, we are targeting to expand our channel presence in the tier-2 and tier-3 cities, where we had not been able to establish a strong partner network by this August 2012. We will be increasing our partner count from the existing 4000 plus to about 10,000 in India," said Lakshman.
