US based SafeNet is expanding its channel partners base as part of its
expansion plan. Accor-ding to Rajesh Pathak, HR Assistant Manager, SafeNet,
"We are planning to hire 13 more channel partners by end of 2005.
Currently, we have two channel partners-one in Mumbai and one in Ahmedabad".
He further added that our channel partners help us in implementation of our
products and we train them to meet our requirements.
On the company's invest-ment plans Pathak commen-ted, "We are
investing $ 0.5 million in January 2005 as a part of our expansion plan in terms
of infrastructure and increasing bandwidth.
Currently, the company already has a regional office in Okhla with a
headcount of 122 people. We are planning to expand our employee strength to 175
people by end of 2005."
He further added that the company also planning to set up its sales office in
Mumbai by January 2005 and plans to recruit five people in the beginning of next
year.
