SAE Bangalore would be offering courses in the fields of multimedia production and digital filmmaking. The first course, multimedia production involves acquiring new skills in the artistic and business spheres, in addition to providing the student with inside information on working with multimedia applications. The digital filmmaking course offers careers in non-broadcast television and institutional video careers. Graduating in this course will make a student become either a producer or a director with complete knowledge of camera techniques, video edit techniques etc.

The college has plans to graduate 120 students in each discipline per year. It also has plans to offer a two-year degree course in multimedia production by July 2001 and a three-year degree in digital film making production by February 2002.

The college has an exclusive arrangement with Middlesex University to provide an avenue for SAE to offer a full university education and degrees, including Masters and Doctorates.

According to Tom Misner, Founder, SAE, " To commence work in a studio or any professional broadcast facility today, one must have a solid grounding in technology, consisting of both practical and theoretical knowledge. Our curriculum is continuously updated to reflect the latest developments in the audio and the multimedia industries."
