Delhi-based Rx Infotech has set an ambitious target of Rs 250 crore for FY15-anticipating a 60% growth over the last financial year. The company grew around 20% from Rs 130 crore top line to 155 crore in FY14.
In an email interview, the spokesperson of the company said, "Our growth engines would be our brand associations like Dell, Lenovo, Acer, Lapcare, 3M and LiteOn. We continue to focus on our core, which is laptop accessories and spares."
Recently, the company associated itself with Lenovo and Acer for their range of Laptop batteries adaptors and accessories. Acer partnership is mainly for battery and adaptor range of products as well power banks. Also, the company added Lapcare Smart 3G Range into its distribution portfolio recently.
One of the major developments came in when the company acquired Go Tech Digital's FunTab in the last FY. Rx plans to leverage its own distribution network to sell FunTab tablets. With these all slew of measures; the company is upbeat about its growth.
The company is also has expansion plans in its kitty. It plans to expand both horizontally and vertically. The spokesperson said, "We plan to open up 20 service centers across the country to service our own products and consumers. We also plan to get into networking and lifestyle product distribution." Currently the company has no plans of venturing into retail business.
Rx sees consumer shift towards e-commerce and therefore, low buying power of middle class are driving the entire distribution model in India. The spokesperson said, "We are going to see a lot of distribution houses entering into other avenues like telecom and accessories, electrical appliances and product support.
