TAIT to roll out new knowledge building programs

Rushabh Shah, CEO of Graham Information Systems Pvt. Ltd has been elected as a president of the Mumbai based Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT). On his appointment, Shah said that the new leadership would focus on knowledge enhancement and work towards expanding the association beyond Mumbai.

“Continuing the legacy, we will carry forward the existing programs. However, this year we will focus more on knowledge enhancement of our members. We will shortly roll out two new knowledge building programs: TAIT Pathshala and TAIT e Buzz. The aim of these programs is to enhance the knowledge of our members”, Shah said.

TAIT Pathshala is learning and grooming program specially designed for TAIT members and their staff. Whereas, TAIT E Buzz is an online information sharing platform where the members will get updates on various issues such as taxation, government policies, latest technology trends etc.

TAIT and Taipei Computer Association (TCA) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on alliance for boosting Taiwan – India trade cooperation in the ICT Sector. Shah said TAIT will continue to extend cooperation with TAITRA. On the question whether TAIT is overtaking FAIITA on business collaboration with Taiwan companies, Shah said, “There is no conflict of interest with FAIITA. There is win win situation for both us and the national federation.”

The other office bearers include: Vivek Gandhi as vice president, Vinod Vanigota as general secretary and Sameer Mehta as treasurer. Apart from that Viren Bavishi of Sapphire Micro Systems, Devang Thakore of Hall Mark Systems and Sameer Parekh of Brain Point Computer have been appointed as the new co-opted directors.
