EMC, has announced a number of enhancements to its global
RSA SecurWorld channel partner program, designed to further empower
RSA's channel partners in helping customers address evolving
security challenges. The program enhancements can aid channel
partners to more competitively position themselves with their
customers as experts on RSA products and services. It will also help
partners to enable increased profitability through the sale of RSA's
broad portfolio of security solutions.
“RSA is
continuing to make sure that our channel partners have the tools and
support they need to sell new solutions like those in the
security-as-a-service space,” said Bill Taylor, Senior
Director-Global Channels and Alliances, RSA. “By evolving the RSA
SecurWorld program and offering one central location where channel
partners can access all the tools, resources and applications they
need, we continue to add more value to our partner relationships,
delivering a program that helps our channel partners grow their
businesses,” he added.
RSA enhanced the
program based on feedback from its channel partners. Enhancements
include:
-
An MSSP program
for partners who already provide managed security services and those
looking to launch their own MSSP offering. Managed Security Services
Providers (MSSPs) offer the specialized expertise, service levels, and
scale and scope efficiencies that help unburden their clients from the
cost of compliance and help manage security risks. In addition to its
products and solutions that can be offered and consumed as a service,
the RSA offering for MSSPs includes security consulting, professional
services, and customer support components backed by flexible financial
options. RSA offers these partners the resources and tools they need to
either build and launch a new MSSP offering or just improve their
existing services.

RSA Partner
Central is a newly designed RSA Partner Portal, offering RSA SecurWorld
partners the tools and resources needed to sell, service, and support
the full range of RSA products and solutions. It features new
enhancements that allow channel partners to engage more closely with
RSA, and for them to share visibility into their business, pipeline,
opportunities, and RSA SecurWorld Program status. Channel partners will
benefit from enhanced online training capabilities, a virtual demo
center for RSA products, and fast start training curriculum for RSA
products and the RSA SecurWorld program.
“These
improvements will help increase the value of being an RSA SecurWorld
channel partner while making it easy to do business with RSA,” said
Taylor. “Our channel partners are a strategic part of RSA's
business and an extension of our own sales and marketing teams. Our
continued investments in the RSA SecurWorld program are focused on
delivering greater revenue and profit opportunities for our channel
partners,” concluded Taylor. The RSA SecurWorld program is
structured to enable more channel partners to meet rapidly-growing
information security market opportunities.
