Revolutionizing IT 2004 is a series of events scheduled for
the year 2004 by Aldous Glare Trade and Exports (AGTE) in 10 cities of Kerala
named Cochin, Triv-andrum, Calicut, Tri-chur, Kottayam, Kol-lam, Kannur, Palghat,
Malapuram and Alle-ppey. The major ven-dors including Intel, HP, Maxtor, BenQ,
Microsoft, Vesta and Frontech support AGTE are to drive the initiative.

Maxtor sponsored the first Reseller meet of the series, ‘Revolutionizing
IT 2004’ held at Hotel Avenue Centre, Cochin on Jan.29 Yogesh Kamat, Sales
Manager, Singapore- Indian Subcontinent, Maxtor was the chief guest of the
event. This was the first Maxtor meet in Kerala.

Ingram Micro the distributor for Maxtor hard drive was
represented at the event by Mr. Ajay Thozhapa, Product Manager Ingram Micro
India, and Nandakumar, Branch Manager, Ingram Micro India, Cochin along with the
Cochin distribution team of Ingram.

Around 180 dealers from all parts of Kerala attended the
program. There was an over-whelming response for Spot booking offer from all the
350 odd participants who were present. Fabulous gifts were given to lucky
dealers. The resellers hailed it as a very useful and informative event.

Eldho Areeckal, DGM of AGTE welcomed the gathering. Yogesh
Kamat gave a presentation on technological leadership of Ma-xtor in hard drive
technology and its presence in global IT. George Thomas, CEO, AGTE presented on
the need for change and pur-pose of the ev-ent. Regy Abra-ham, Product Manager
of Maxtor in AGTE, gave the vote of thanks to the gathering.

There were several prizes and gifts given to the dealers for
their overwhelming response to the Spot booking offer. Muhammed Yaser of Makh
Systems, Trivandrum and Gopakumar of Delstar , Cochin were given Addidas
T-Shirts as the first and the second prize respectively. Subeesh of Paico
Computers, Cochin took home 40GB Maxtor 7200 RPM HDD, as he won the lucky dip on
V. Cards. The lucky dip on bookings was bagged by Remil of Deotech, Calicut who
got a 80 GB Maxtor SATA HDD. Suresh of IT Partners, Cochin won himself a
Microsoft IntelliMouse for the first booking.
