In a bid to transform the showroom into a state-of-the-art building, Eastern
Logica, part of the Kolkata-based Eastern Group, has revamped their showroom
recently, setting a benchmark in the retail sales space.
“The showroom now looks like an IT mall. The trend nowadays is to focus on
consumer experience while shopping. Thus catering to the change in consumer
outlook, we decided to brush up the appearance of the showroom”, said Gaurav
Goel, MD, Eastern Logica.
Spread over 5,500 square feet, the mall has two dedicated counters for laptop
and lifestyle products. Brandishing major brands like Dell, HP, Sony, Acer and
Lenovo, Logica is all set to complete their laptop portfolio by inducting
Toshiba into the space soon.
The company has revamped its showroom to look like an IT mall, which has resulted in average footfalls have tripling |
“Logica has always been committed to Lenovo and sales for the same are high.
Every month, Lenovo alone accounts for over 500 boxes. However, we are also
looking forward to maximising our range of laptop brands and in sometime will
also be bringing Toshiba within our portfolio,” Goel said.
Logica claimed that it has always received a tremendous response from its
customers but after the renovation, the average footfall has tripled. “The
footfall has now trebled in two months' time boosting sales heavily. We are
targeting a 45 percent YoY growth, pushing our revenue to Rs 25 crore this FY,”
Goel added.
Satisfied with its performance last FY, the Eastern Group, with a strong
presence in the retail segment, is now looking at aggressively promoting itself
in the enterprise segment too.
“We are now concentra-ting on the enterprise segment. We are already strong
in the distribution and retail space and now we are looking forward to enter the
enterprise scale too. Recently, we have bagged a huge order of Rs 90 lakh in the
passive component space in Bharat McNully's project in Rajarhat where apart from
the supplies, we will also be handling the network deployment. We now aspire to
enter the solutions space too in storage, networking and security.” Goel
concluded.
Logica ha bagged a major deal worth Rs 46 lakh in Bokaro, scheduled to start
on Aug 17 of this month.
