Delhi-based consuma-bles distribution com-pany Renovision Comnet has launched
its brand Renocolor. Inkjet paper is the first product under the brand.
The company currently handles regional distribution for Epson India for North
India on exclusive basis and fax and inkjet consumables of Canon India for Delhi
region.
"Inkjet media is a fast growing market. The concept of fun photography
is also catching up in India and is contributing to demand of this paper. The
market is expected to grow 40 per cent year-on-year," said V K Trivedi of
Renovision Comnet.
Renovision Comnet MD R K Malhotra said, "We have aggressive plans and
would be creating a very strong and widespread channel for this brand. We would
be investing resources in building Reno-color brand."
He added, "Distribution business of Epson and Canon is our backbone and
we have ensured that the new dire-ction does not impact our distribution
business. We have clearly earmarked requi-site resources and would like to build
further on this back-bone. It will give us leverage and strength and both the
business lines will definitely compliment each other."
Company strategy invol-ves focus on retail. "We will use three supply
chains to place the product in the mar-ket, IT channel, stationery channel and
photo goods channel. All three put toge-ther will help in creating a strong
network of retailers selling our product. The company has also freezed on a
fixed amount of money that would be donated to charitable organizations on each
packet sold.
