Reliance Jio subscribers, here's another 'freebie' for you. According to a report in ET Telecom, Reliance Jio subscribers will get 15% discount on AirAsia tickets. The offer is said to be valid on both domestic as well as international tickets.
According to the report, the customers can avail the discount on Air Asia's mobile app for travel period starting June 20, 2017 till September 30, 2017.
The scheme appears to be in sync with Reliance Jio chairman Mukesh Ambani’s promise to the users that the company will offer customers many more 'benefits' in the days forward. "Jio Prime offers many attractive benefits - the absolute best data tariffs in the industry, free voice calling, access to all Jio apps, and many more periodic surprises going forward," Ambani had said in a letter to the Reliance Jio users in February this year, while announcing Jio Prime membership.
Starting April 16, Reliance Jio services have officially become paid. April 15 was the last day for users to sign up for the company's Prime membership plan. With the last date over, the company has started disconnecting users that have not recharged.
At the time of announcement of its Jio 'Dhan Dhana Dhan' offer last week, the company had said in a statement that the existing Jio customers who have not done their first recharge so far, need to do so by 15 April 2017 to avoid degradation and/or discontinuation of services.
Under its 'Dhan Dhana Dhan' scheme, Jio had announced 84GB data (1GB data per day) at the price of Rs 408 (Rs 309 + Rs 99) for a span of three months and Rs 509 for 84GB for 3 months (2GB daily). This offer too ended on April 15, as it was 'Prime exclusive'.
The Reliance Jio's new tariff plan under this scheme for non-Prime members start at Rs 408 and Rs 608 plan with 1GB and 2GB data usage restriction respectively. Both the plans have validity of 84 days.
