The ReIndia Expo, that
focuses on supplies for the re-manufacturing industry, will be
organized in New Delhi's NSIC Exhibition Complex this year. This will
serve as a platform for the IT and photocopier industry for education
and instruction, product launches, service offerings, peer networking
and information sharing. Out of the total Rs 200 crore market in
India, the re-manufactured cartridge share is merely 10 to 12
percent. This two-day trade show will represent the stakeholders of
India's growing re-manufacturing industry.

ReIndia Expo 2011 that
will kick start on February 25, will highlight major industry
players, who will exhibit their latest product offerings that will
include parts and supplies; re-manufactured ink and laser printer
cartridges; and photocopier industry components and supplies.
Speaking to The DQ Week, Veerendra Chopra of Recharge India
said that, they have had three very successful expos in Mumbai. "Due
to the insistence from the exhibitors, industry and the visitors, we
have moved it to Delhi this year, and the response has been
phenomenal," he said.

Informing about the
objective of this mega expo, Chopra said that, the Indian
re-manufacturing industry needs to be more organized, to increase the
market share, and the role of major players with large investments
into testing and certification facilities are much needed. "The
end-customer has to be educated about the refilled and
re-manufactured cartridges. The benefits of this eco-friendly
industry needs to be promoted by one and all," he said. The
ReIndia Expo 2011 will also lend an opportunity to the IT and
photocopier industry to look at alternate mediums of profits. "We
are inviting members from various IT associations, distributors and
dealers and encouraging them to invite their valued potential
customers to attend the technical sessions," Chopra said. There
will be a Recharge India 'Readers Choice Awards', wherein the
industry leaders, under various categories, will be honored.
