The warehouse, according to Aniruddha stocked materials for Chennai.
"Though there will be shortage of stocks following the accident but it won’t
be completely zero. Following this accident we have moved stocks from our other
warehouses to Chennai. So, the Chennai mar-ket need not be pressured for loss of
stock for we have taken enough steps to see that Chen-nai doesn’t turn
dry," he added.

As to the allegation that the warehouse did not have enough safety measures,
he said that they have been in this business for a long period. "We have
presence in 33 locations and this is for the first time that such an accident
has occurred. So, I just fail to understand the authenticity of the various
media reports that we did not have safety measures in place. Did they carry any
investiga-tion before coming to such conclusion?" The fire force took
nearly six to seven hours to extinguish the fire.
