Redington would distribute full range of Quantum backup, recovery and archive
solutions

Quantum Corp has announced the appointmenttment of a new
distritributor, Redington India (Ltd), provider of IT products in India.
Redington, which operates an extensive network of local sales offices, will
distribute Quantum's complete line of storage products for backup, recovery
and archival.

According to the press rele-ase, this agreement with
Redington reinforces Quan-tum's focus on driving growth and promoting its new
products throughout Asia and India. Quantum recently announced the completion of
its acquisition of Certance, a privately held, global supplier of tape drives
and data protection solutions. As a result of the acquisition, Quan-tum will be
the world's largest volume supplier of both tape drives and tape automation.

"We're confident the newly combined company will offer
customers in India of all sizes an unparalleled range of backup, recovery and
archive solutions-from tape drive and media technologies, autoloaders and
libraries to disk-based backup systems," said Emil Kobylarz, Asia Pacific
MD, Quantum.

"We are delighted to sign up with Quantum in India as it
provides us a further opportunity to broaden our existing customer base and
product offerings while growing our business portfolio," said Jitendra
Kulkarni, CEO of Redington India.
