RCTA to organize International Computer Carnival 2001

An association of computer traders of Rajasthan, Rajasthan Computer Traders Association (RCTA)-a non-profit organization formed in July this year-is organizing International Computer Carnival-2001 in the state from Oct 26-28, 2001.

To organize IT shows/exhibitions was one of the set objectives by RCTA and it is in line to this that this exhibition is being organized. Every care has been taken to understand the needs of exhibitors and the exhibition charges are worked out in affordable range of common computer trader ensuring larger participation.

The participants are strictly RCTA members' thus entire spectrum of computer traders would be under one roof in this exhibition. Since distributors/principles are also part of RCTA, it is being well supported by major distributors/principle companies to make it a mega event of the year.

Complete computer traders' community of Rajasthan shall attend this exhibition and it is a good opportunity for distributors/principles companies to expand their operations throughout Rajasthan from this platform. Its members in scheduled time frame have already over subscribed the booking for the stall.

Not only this; the event is being well covered by leading media such as Rajasthan Patrika, Dainink Bhaskar, Hindustan Times and various computer magazines such as the DQ Week, Delhi. Rajasthan computer columns and senior marketing channel in its all-promotional advertisements to reach to masses of the consumers of Rajasthan. About 30,000 direct mailers are also being sent to the listed organizations. Various companies will be announcing free gifts/coupons/lucky draw and schemes to attract the consumers.

Traditionally IT exhibitions in Jaipur have been organized by non-IT-based event management organizations. This had limitations in terms of understanding the exact nature of requirement of exhibitors. Moreover being organized by commercial organizations it was not affordable by a common computer trader to participate in such exhibitions.

In order to facilitate the consumer as well as to the exhibitors, it is for the first time that an exhibitors' directory shall be handed over to visitors for a single point reference of companies and products exhibited by various companies, while trying to make a purchase at a later date. Companies and distributors such as Rashi Peripherals, Priya Ltd, Intel, LG and Samsung will sponsor the event.

The RCTA is also taking up following important activities for the benefit of its members

• Publish a monthly news letter
• Publish the first ever computer traders directory
• To undertake sales tax issues 
• To prevent defaulters in the trade
• To update all it's members on latest activities via website www.rctaonline.com
• To increase memberships throughout Rajasthan for benefit of all Rajasthan traders.
