Rajasthan Computer Traders Association (RCTA) is all geared up to host a
string of events in this New Year. This was informed by Gopal Sharma, Secretary,
RCTA. To start with, a get together of the members is being organi-zed, which
will also be a plat-form to discuss various issues.
"We plan to host a number of events in the coming days starting from the
get-together to trade fair, a cultural show, cricket match and last but not the
least a kite show," revealed Sharma.
On the lines of some of the other regional associations, either already
through with an IT exhibition or organizing one, RCTA too has plans to organize
its second IT exhibition this year. "Though we have finalized the sponsor,
but it has not been declared as yet. Most probably the event will be held either
in February or April. The dates have not yet been decided. Some major MNCs will
parti-cipate in the event and I hope that like the last event, this too will
become a great success," he said.
The event will be held for the Rajasthan resellers and once all the
modalities are discussed, the association will start contacting the MNCs for
their participation.
Apart from this event, RCTA will also be co-sponsoring a cultural event with
some other compa-nies. The date is to be finalized soon. RCTA is also planning
to organize a cricket match this month most probably, among its members and
distis. For the first time it plans to hold a kite show too.
Apart from these activities, RCTA is gradually increasing its membership
base, which currently stands at around 200.
