Rashi
Peripherals successfully completed the western and southern leg of
the ongoing fifth edition of Channel Business Forum (CBF), at the
same time winning some accolades conferred by various IT resellers
associations.
The western
leg
kick started from Durg and Mehsana and simultaneously at Amravati,
Bhavnagar, Jalgaon, Jamnagar, Ahmednagar, Gandhidham, Satara and
Belgaum. The January phase saw CBF V teams also cover southern towns
like Villupuram, Guntur, Tanjavore, Kakinada, Tirunelveli, Vizag,
Thrissur, Erode and Mysore. “It was a real pleasure in attending
the Rashi meet. This was a unique experience not only for myself but
for all other dealers in the area. Rashi has set a new benchmark on
how to conduct meets,” said G Dasha Kumar, President, Deal IT,
Mysore. The Asus team was present at Mysore CBF V led by Vinay
Shetty, Country Head-Component Business, Asus India and Jacob
Meshack, Channel Sales Manager-Component Products, Asus, along
with representatives from Logitech, SanDisk and Netgear.
The IT
Association of Mysore was felicitated by Vinay Shetty. “CBF V
carried forward the legacy of the previous CBF events and is a great
initiative by Rashi to educate channel partners on the changing
dynamics of the IT industry. The format of the event was perfect with
the USPs of each brand and products delivered effectively to reach
the minds of dealers who are otherwise impatient to listen to
Powerpoint presentations. Office-bearers of all the IT dealer
associations were duly honored by the Rashi team, which would further
cement the good rapport which Rashi already enjoys,” said Shetty.
Rashi became the first distributor to organize such a channel meet in
small towns like Villupuram, Kakinada, Tirunelveli and Durg.
“Tirunelveli CBF V was a very good event, especially the quiz. The
concept was very different from the usual programs. The products on
display were good. In totality, the event was informative and
enjoyable,” said Anbu Ezhil, Logon Technology, Nagercoil.
CBF V
covered
38 towns in the December and January phase with more than 3,000
partners attending the events. The next and final phase of CBF V
begins from Jammu and Hissar respectively and the journey will
culminate at Haldwani. CBF was launched by Rashi Peripherals in the
year 2005 with an objective to train and update channel partners on
latest technology and products.
