Rashi opens its 37th branch in Patna

Rashi Peripherals has announced the opening of its 37 branch at Patna.
According to the press release, with this Rashi now has the largest IT
distribution network in India.

Rashi has chalked put the plans for the FY 2005-06 and plans to further
stren-gthen its presence in C& D Class cities. As a part of the
infrastructure expansion and development program, Rashi will increase its direct
presence in five more cities.

As per Rajesh Goenka, Div- Head Rashi Peripherals, "Now we have branch
opera-tions in almost each and every state, except North-East which is
collectively catered by Guwahati branch. Rashi will be launching various
marketing initia-tives. We already have a dedicated Marketing Team at Corporate
Office, which is supported by branch sales team. With the increase in the
products range Rashi has already initiated the nece-ssary process of increasing
the marketing and sales manpower induction and training program."

To educate the channels about the existing and new product lines and to en-hance/sustain
the business and profitability of its channel partners, Rashi will organize
various promotions and incentive programs. Rashi plans to further increase the
service support by brining in 24 hours warranty at all of its branch locations.

Today Rashi Peripherals is Rs 220 crore company with over 260 members. It
currently distributes pro-ducts from companies like Altec Lansing, ASUS, Com-pex,
Edifier, HP, IBM, Logi-tech, Microtek, Netgear, Ozaki, Pixelview, Sony, and XFX
through its 3,000 strong reseller channel.
