Rashi opens Gangtok branch

The company is targeting to open 42 branches all across India

by March 2006

In line with its plans to open 42 branches by March 2006,

Rashi Peripherals recently announced the opening of its Gangtok branch in Sikkim

State. With this Rashi now has 40 branches all across India.

As decided in Q1 of FY05-06, and as part of its expansion and

development program Rashi will increase its direct presence to two more cities.

With 40 branches effectively covering almost each part of India, Rashi claims to

have the largest IT distribution network in India.

According to Rajesh Goenka, Div- Head, Rashi Peripherals,

"Depth and spread are equally important pillars of any successful

organization, we have ear-marked cities as a part of our plan, and we will be

establishing branches as per that. We are further streamlining our business

processes and systems to gear-up for the coming requirements."

As an initiative to educate the channel community, Rashi

Peripherals recently conducted a 41- city roadshow - Channel Business Forum

2005, which saw more than 3,000 channel partners participate.

Rashi currently distributes products from world famous brands

like Altec Lansing, Asus, AMD, Compex, HP, IBM, Lenovo, Logitech, Netgear,

Pixelview, Sony, and XFX through its 3,000 strong reseller channel.

Rashi Peripherals is a Rs 216 crore company with over 260 members. For FY05-06 Rashi is targeting a

turnover of Rs 350 plus crore.
