Rashi launches Microtek's ScanMaker 9800XL

Rashi Peripherals, a leading distribution company, has launched Microtek's new ScanMaker 9800XL in the market. Rashi is Microtek's authorized distributor in India.

Microtek's new scanner comes with several advanced features. With the Multi Sampling technology, each scanned line is sampled multiple times (the frequency determined by users in 2, 4, or 8 options) to optimize signals, with the samples then averaged out to distill top-quality data. It minimizes signal fluctuation and artifacts, resulting in a purer image output and enhanced optical density range.

Windows users can benefit from sharing this scanner over a local area network. Once installed, ScanWizard Pro is used for each client as if the scanner was directly connected to the PC.

It also comes bundled with software like Microtek´s ScanWizard Pro 6.1x scanning software and the Microtek Scanner ICC Profiler software. Also included are Adobe PhotoShop Elements, providing an easy way to edit users' scans to your personal requirements, ABBYY FineReader Sprint OCR, allowing users to convert scanned text to editable text with 99% accuracy, Ulead Photo Explorer, an image browser and management tool and Acrobat Reader. 

The price of ScanMaker 9800XL is Rs 145,000.
