With its focus towards increasing penetration in the Indian market, Raritan

Com-puter, a global provider of KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) switches, is

looking forward to increasing its channel presence in the region.

Presently, the company is working with one distributor in the form of Pune

based Cubix Microsystems and 17 resellers spread across all over the country.

"Channel is an integral part of our strategy to increase business

opportu-nities. At present, we are wor-king with just one distributor who has

its presence in all the major parts of the country. Moving forward, we would be

expanding our distributor network as well as increasing the resellers to 40 by

the end of this year," informed Vinod Hingorani, Country Manager, Raritan

Computer India.

Targeting specific verticals in the government, BFSI, ITES and the BPO units

and the manufacturing sector, Raritan already has a customer base of over 200

and is looking forward to increasing this further.

"Indian market is doing pretty well. Especially sectors like the BPO

have picked up quite well. Now more and more global companies are having their

presence in India and this is encouraging them to go for our products and

solutions," Hingorani added.

Though the company has just one distributor at present, moving forward it is

looking to increase the number of national distribu-tors as well. "Cubix

already has a national footprint and we do not believe in the number game. We

would only be interested in focused distributors who can give us the added

geographic reach as well as vertical focus," Hingorani explained.

Based in Somerset, NJ, US, Raritan Computer is a provider of enterprise,

analog and digital KVM switches, serial console control, remote access, and

centralized server management solutions.
