Rank appointed excl distributors for Leadtek VGA cards, TV tuner

Mumbai-based Rank Data Products has been appointed as exclusive distributors for Taiwan-based Leadtek's WINFAST VGA Cards and TV tuner card in India.

Leadtek has launched the first VGA card for Windows XP, which is now available in India - WINFAST GeForce 3 Titanium 500 and WINFAST GeForce 3 Titanium 200. "Leadtek is one of the largest VGA card manufacturer making 2-3 lakh cards per month. It is known for its high quality VGA cards and has been priced very competitively in comparison to other brands of high quality available in the market. The price of the product ranges from Rs 5,000 to Rs 30,000 depending on the different models. WINFAST VGA cards is ideal for those who use high-end graphics, video edition and for gaming," said Prakash Bharwani, Director, Rank Data Products Pvt Ltd.

Titanium 200 and 500 come with 64 MB DDR memory on board. The WinFox and the hardware monitor software not only provide an important main system but also graphics sub-system information. With this integrated hardware monitor system one can control the minutest details on the PC and make the right decision if a problem crops up. "Being highly priced WINFAST will definitely take time to pick up in the market. But now the Indian population is not going by advertisement rather basing their knowledge on the international technical guides, which gives reviews about various products. So we are optimistic about WINFAST," said

Leadtek has also launched WinFast TV 2000, the tuner card with which one can watch television and hear FM on the PC. "This is the first ever card which enables to hear FM on ones PC. It is available as internal and external card. The internal card costs Rs 3,500 and the external card comes at Rs 5,500."

Rank Data Products Pvt Ltd have appointed 60 dealers in Chennai. The Chennai branch which looks after the Kerala and Tamil Nadu market have appointed five dealers in Kerala and two dealers outside Chennai. The company has branches in Bangalore and Hyderabad also with C & F agents in Delhi and
Kolkatta.
