The company plans to target SMB segmment through its ERP appli-cation. Ramco
Systems will agg-ressively penetrate the SMB segment with its ERP offering-Ramco
e-applica-tions. The company has been partnering across the cou-ntry to reach to
this segment and has already signed aro-und 15 partners for its ERP product.
Ramco has developed its ERP suite on Microsoft plat-form using Windows and
SQL server database systems. Ramco and Microsoft have jointly created a value
pro-position for SMBs.
Ramco country head-India, Middle East and Africa R Shankar said, "The

solution is easy to imp-lement, easy to use and easy to support, making it the

Ramco e-applications boa-sts of over 1,000 customer ins-tallations across 30
countries serving one-lakh users. The company had applied for 46 patents last
year on its virtual works applications.
The company's enterprise business revenue accounts for Rs 71 crore, of
which 40 per cent come from the domestic market.
The e-application compri-ses over Rs 35 core business applications that can
be combined with industry-specific add-ons to deliver customer specific
solutions. The company would continue to focus on its core verticals that
include HR, payroll, chemical, en-gineering goods and automobiles.
