AFS has been a certified assembly partner of R&M for many years, so the quality and innovation in fiber optic solutions will continue.”

Vijay Kumar HP, director, AFS says: “Over the last 10 years, we have built excellent customer relationships through our expertise in fiber-optic technology and the ability to offer customized solutions. We are thrilled to become a part of the R&M’s global organization. With R&M’s worldwide expertise and our local knowledge, we will be able to offer new solutions with added value to our customers.”

This acquisition provides R&M with the industrial platform to strengthen its existing structured cabling business in India and addresses new strategic market segments.

R&M has achieved tremendous growth in India since beginning operations in 2006. This acquisition is a key milestone to further expand our business in India. We can now actively participate in the growing fiber-optic network deployments, Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) roll-outs and Data Center projects.
