QuantumLink to extend focus on B and C class cities

Mumbai-based QuantumLink, have now planned to increase increase focus on the B and C class cities and also make its presence felt in the eastern part of the country. QuantumLink already have channel partners across 40 cities, which includes metros and the smaller cities. “These regions provide sales potential as usage of IT pene-trates deeper into the upcoun-try markets. Quantum wants to have authorized resellers in every state capital and atleast two big cities in the state. The extended network helps us to leverage our overall service pac-kage to the end customer whereby, he can implement a nationwide rollout of our products and services. There is significant amount of satura-tion in the reseller network in the two main metros–Mum-bai and Delhi. By looking bey-ond these cities, we can extend our presence in new markets,” said Rajesh Singh, National Sales Manager (Channels),
QuantumLink. 

The software development vendor is looking at setting up a network of six to 10 autho-rized sales and support part-ners in top 10 cities like Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kanpur and Hyderabad. It is also looking at establishing sales and support partners in state capitals in north, west and south like Chan-digarh, Lucknow, Bhopal, Triva-ndrum and Goa. Quantum is also looking at major towns like Ludiana-Jalandhar, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Moradabad, Baroda, Nagpur, Nasik, Aurangabad, Indore, Coimbatore, Cochin and Belgaum-Hubli. It expects to ac-hieve this by end of Q3 of 2003.
