Quadsel picked as HP premium partner

Chennai-based Quadsel Systems, a networking consultant and system integrator, has been appointed as Hewlett-Packard (HP)Premium Partner in Chennai. This makes Quadsel Systems the fifth Premium Partner for HP in
Chennai.

Having started off as an Accredited Reseller for HP, Quadsel Systems will now be the Premium Partner for the entire range of HP products - high-end servers, mid-range servers, lower-end servers, desktops, plotters, higher and lower end laser printers. "We are also planning to become the authorized service provider for HP," said Girish Madhavan, Director, Quadsel Systems Pvt Ltd.

In another major development, Quadsel has been appointed as the authorized reseller for IBM for their Intel based servers, desktops, workstations and laptops in Chennai. The company that is targeting the corporate, SMEs and home segment recently started operations in Bangalore with both trading and servicing center. "With the HP-Compaq merger we need to have a second brand today. So IBM was the choice. Moreover we get fewer complaints on the MNC products which also helps build our company reputation in the market, " said
Girish.

Quadsel System is the Compaq Authorized Reseller for their servers and notebooks, Genuine Intel dealer and reseller for Cisco products. "For the fiscal 2000-2001 we made a turnover of Rs 7.2 crore inclusive of Compaq, Cisco and networking solutions. This year we are supposed to touch Rs 10 crore but with the current market scenario we may work till Rs 6
crore.

There is no future in the market today but we are working hard to do well," added
Girish.
