Punjabi university

Matter between Punjabi Technical University and All India Council of
Technical Education (AICTE), regarding recognition to computer institutes is
still lying pending. It is publicly known that Punjabi university has affiliated
some computer training institutes for providing computer education. Whereas, PTU
and AICTE have refused to recognize these institutes.

PTU is still claiming that once UGC gives recognition to University courses
offered by same university are automatically recognized. PTU and AICTI are
claiming that this is their power to recognize such technical course. This
matter has created a big trouble for students as well as unrest among students
who are already studying in these institutes.
