Puneet Dhir elected Jalandhar association president

Jalandhar Computer Dealers Association (JCDA) has recently held its annual election and elected its new team for the term 2013-14. The election was held for the post of president, VP, general secretary, joint secretary, cashier and PRO.

For the elections, the association received only single nomination forms for all the six posts. Therefore they are declared winners unopposed. The three member election committee including Daljit Singh, Rajiv Khanna and Yamal Gupta declared the much-awaited results.

For the coveted post of president Puneet Dhir was declared elected. Rajesh Gupta of Datamax Computers has become the VP, Rajnish Gupta of C Tech Computers has taken over as general secretary, wherein Supreet Singh of Touch Automation has become the joint secretary, Rajesh Joshi of Multipro is the cashier and the PRO post will be headed by Paras Dewan of Divine Computers.

Dhir has been serving this 15-years old association for the last 13 years. He had earlier handled portfolios like general secretary, joint secretary and treasurer.

According to Dhir, "In my 13 years old association with JCDA, I have been elected as the president for the first time. Over the years JCDA has been growing y-o-y. Our first general body meet for the year 2013-14 will be held March 22, where new team will take over the charge from the present team."
