Pune-based Saakri IT solutions, which has grown primarily distributing Kaspersky's security software, has added new brands in its kitty to reach Rs 500 crore mark in the near future.
The company has expanded horizontally with adding products like Micromax for its distribution of tablets and dongles. It also associated itself with Microsoft for sub-distribution in major states.
Ravi Lakshman K, CEO, Saakri IT Solutions said, "Although Kaspersky remains to be a value partner for Sakri and business is ever increasing; the revenue cannot be generated from one company alone. We have envisioned reaching Rs 500 crore mark in the near future as that is why we have added different brands."
The company registered a growth of 30% in the FY14 and accounted Rs 200 crore. In the financial year ending March 2013, the company has closed Rs 150 crore revenue.
The company has been rated SME 2 by the credit rating agency-CRISIL. It means that the credit worthiness of Sakri, adjudged to others SME companies is "high".
