Pune-based
Cubix Microsystems, which provides connectivity solutions including
KVM switches and KVM access over IP solutions, WAN Traffic Management
and SSL VPN products along with bandwidth management solutions to
both large enterprises and SMBs, is now gearing up to strengthen its
channel partner base.
“We are
looking to expand our partner base by 25% by the end of this fiscal
year to handle our volume business. Currently, our business is being
routed by our existing 200 plus channel partners who are distributed
in all the major metro cities in the country,” said Nitin Naik,
director, Cubix Microsystem.
He further
added that the new appointment of the channel partners would be
mainly focused in tier-2 and -3 cities to implement provision and
provide services for various projects across the nation. Besides
adding in more partners to its kit, Cubix has also announced its new
initiative to increase the partner experience. Speaking about the
significance of partners and Cubix's growth, Naik explained,
“Around 80% of our business prospects come through our partners.
Hence, we are investing a lot in enabling and educating partners. We
are now looking to come up with a partner training and enablement
program in the second quarter of this financial year, so that
partners can get hands on training around implementation, and
enablement of volume business partners.”
Planning to
tap the growing opportunities in the market, Cubix has been appointed
as the only national distributor for ATEN International to market PDU
(Power Distribution Center) in the country. “This deal will also
encourage our channel partners because, today, more and more
customers are looking at expanding their data centers and there are a
lot of opportunities for our partners in the data center space.
Adding to it, with the growing prominence of the concept of green IT,
these partners can tap expansion opportunities further,” added
Naik.
