PTC announces winners at the Channel Sales event

During the FY13 Channel sales kick off in Boston, Massachusetts Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) announced Aditya Infotech Limited as their Global Academic Partner of the year and Softcell Technologies Limited as their India Impact Partner of the year, Softcell Technologies Limited went on to win the Achievers Club award at this annual event.

Attended by over 250 VAR, 100 PTC personnel and eminent PTC spokespeople such as Jim Heppelmann, President and CEO of PTC, Robert D Ranaldi, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Distribution at PTC, Rob Gremley, Executive Vice President, Product Development & Corporate Marketing at PTC and Anthony (Tony) DiBona, Executive Vice President, Global Support at PTC this event was a huge success.

With an objective to review FY2012 and provide outlook and direction for FY2013, the event aimed at apprising the partners from across the globe about new programs and products and also to share best practices on selling, supporting and implementing PTC Products and Enterprise Solution Services. From India, the event was attended by Adroitec Engineering Solutions, Aditya Infotech, IonIdea Enterprise Solutions, ITC Infotech India and Softcell Technologies.

Commenting on the award, Binish Parikh, VP - Software Solution Division, Aditya Infotech said "The PTC Education Business is very important for us in terms of top line and bottom line contribution, around 40% of our PTC business comes from this segment. Education business is very close to us as it helps in creating a good user base, which is very essential for us in terms of creating manpower (engineers of the future) required for our commercial customers."
