The new initiative will be inaugurated in Mumbai on July 13, 2012 at the PPL Awards.

Henceforward, throughout the event, The DQ Week will present and update every winner and the subsequent announcements both on its Facebook profile (www.facebook.com/dq.week) and page (www.facebook.com/TheDQWeek) as well as update minute announcements in its Twitter profile (www. twitter.com/DQWeek).

With this feature being introduced in the annual awards celebrating the success of Indian IT channel partners, now a local or regional event could be taken to a new high by updating the minutes across the global networks.

The priority updates will, however, not be limited to declaring award winners and important occurrences during the award ceremony. The DQ Week will be covering the entire panel discussion with neo-conventional topics and the mode of discussion and debate will be drawn to incorporate minute updates.

Constantly renovating itself, The DQ Week has for the first time introduced the feature of Open House Discussion to deliberate upon the core issues of metro and city locations. Until now, The DQ Week Annual Awards did not have a conversational mode and was limited to a ceremonial conduct only. Now, with the panel and discussions added to the event, the PPL Awards is poised to become more interactive as well as use new media to project every issue of the citites and winner profiles at the global level.

Starting this CY, The DQ Week has focussed primarily over the new media bringing in a fresh outlook to its webpage (www.dqweek.com) and has upgraded itself to become more interactive. Already the initiative has received accolades and appreciation from the entire IT channels and system integrator community and the goal of convergence of new media (website) with social media and its physical events is poised to make The DQ Week further effective.
