PowerLeap arrives in India to upgrade your PC

What if you wanted to upgrade your old PC whether it is a MNC system like HP/Dell/Compaq/IBM or any Indian OEM desktop system without disturbing the existing motherboard, drives, case, monitor or software. In the initial phase SBA Computer Service will be appointing distributors in South and West India. In South they are going to appoint distributors in Chennai, Coimbatore and Bangalore. "We are more focussed towards South since our corporate office is based here. In Mumbai we have already appointed Microware as the distributor.

As PowerLeap is just entering the Indian market, we would go ahead in all direction," said VK Sharma.

The Renaissance/370S is a low-cost, high performance ISA bus card that upgrades your entire PC to the latest computing technologies without replacing the motherboard. Since the Renaissance/370S does not have ISA bus slots, expansion is handled vie the popular USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface, not add-on cards. USB provides a common interface for a wide variety of peripherals (including digital cameras, modems, mice, printers, scanners, and much more) that in the past required different types of connectors. By reducing the number of connector types on your PC, USB eliminates confusion of purchasing peripherals and setting up your computer. It upgrades from 486, Pentium 75, Pentium 166 to Celeron 900 and Pentium III 1GHZ with Onboard AGP, LAN 10/100, sound, USB etc.

PL-iP3 Revision 2 is the most advanced slot-to-socket CPU upgrade solution upto Pentium III. It upgrades from Celeron 266/Pentium II 266 to Celeron 900 and Pentium III 850. It employs patented technologies to adapt Slot 1 systems to the voltage and pin out requirements of the new generation of Intel's Pentium III (FC-PGA) and Celeron (FC-PGA and PPGA) processors. The price options for upgrading from 286/386/486/Pentium/Pentium II machines to Celeron 667 MHz, Celeron 800 MHz and Pentium III 866 is Rs 13,000, Rs 15,750 and Rs 21,000 respectively.
