Ullas Trust celebrated 12th Annual Workshop in Chennai, with 1,200 school
students who participated in the 'Can Do It' workshop. The students were
felicitated as 'Ullas Achievers' and were awarded scholarships.
Continuing its endeavor of recognizing academic excellence in students from
Corporation, Government and Government-aided schools, the Ullas Trust awarded
scholarships to 2,434 students across 254 schools in Chennai and schools from
all 32 district headquarters of Tamil Nadu. Amongst the 2434 Ullas Achievers,
139 students were awarded Higher Education Scholarships for pursuing
professional graduation courses.
Speaking at the 12th Annual Ullas Workshop, Arun Jain, Chairman and CEO,
Polaris Software Lab, said, “Ullas Trust has played an important role in
integrating the company with the larger community. With Ullas completing a
decade and more, it is heartening to see the senior Ullas achievers growing
successful in their professional and personal lives. Even more gratifying is
that many of them are now returning as mentors for the young Ullas achievers.”

Ullas Workshop's motto was igniting, mentoring and transforming young minds.
Amongst the distinguished guests present at the event to engage and inspire the
students were, Karthikeyan, ENT Specialist and Radhakrishnan, IPS and Addl. DGP
(Law and Order). Ullas achievers interacted with them and were motivated by
their experiences.
