In its bid to make headway into the much hyped eGovernance segment of IT

industry Hyderabad based Pioneer eLabs, a division of Pioneer online Pvt. Ltd,

an IT services organization, has developed and deployed a comprehensive land

Management solution, the Integrated Software for Punjab Land Records- ISPLR for

the Punjab state government.

Capt. Amarinder Singh, Chief Minister of Punjab, inaugurated the Computerized

Land Record System in Jalandhar. "ISPLR meets all the government's

specifications and it is far ahead in vision and approach to the current

Implementations of Land record solutions of Andhra Pradesh (Card System) and

many other states within the country," Singh said.

It is a third generation software that has a rule based engine to process all

mutations and generate a new Jamabandi (Record of Rights). It automates the flow

of the information and has the ability to send out an alert for fraud message

across the entire system whenever a fraudulent entry is made, thus guarding

against any discrepancy in the land records entry at all levels.

The software is developed to help the various State Governments in the

implementation of Land Records Management System (LRMS) expeditiously for an

efficient citizen-government interface. It will enable the citizens of the

country to have direct and speedy access to the requisite information and

thereby providing a good governance and transparency in the system.

N Siva Senani, Director, Pioneer Online and senior company officials were

present on the occasion. Speaking on Pioneer Online's role Senani said,

"Pioneer is an industry leader in the area of Software design, Architecting

solutions, Business Process re-engineering and software application development

for eGovernance. Our software 'ISPLR', integrated software for Punjab Land

Records is a first of its kind in the country, unlike the previous incremental

approaches. The company has domain knowledge in more than 30 areas of

e-governance. With this initiative we look forward to wider coverage and

increased thrust in the implementation of e-governance projects."

Following the implementation of ISPLR, Pioneer will strive to address the

opportunities in the country for system integration through the development and

implementation of holistic systems and software solutions. Pioneer Online will

provide software solutions for various government departments connected with

Land Records management and Citizen Grievance Redressal System.
